Our charitable organization is proud to introduce a groundbreaking project that aims to address the critical issue of water scarcity affecting our nation. Recognizing the essential need for clean, accessible water, we have embarked on a comprehensive initiative to install water facilities across three key areas: hospitals, mosques, and the drought-stricken region of Tharparkar, Sindh.
Water for Health: Hospitals Across the Nation
The cornerstone of a healthy community lies in its access to clean water. Understanding this, our initiative targets hospitals across the country, installing water coolers and filtration systems to ensure that patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals have access to safe drinking water. This effort not only aids in the recovery and well-being of patients but also supports the dedicated healthcare workers in maintaining a hygienic environment, crucial for preventing hospital-acquired infections.
Water for Community: Mosques Nationwide
Mosques serve as central gathering points in our communities, places where people come together for prayer, reflection, and support. By installing water coolers and purification systems in mosques throughout the country, we aim to provide worshippers with clean water, enhancing their ability to perform religious duties and fostering a sense of community well-being. This initiative also supports the broader community by ensuring that one of the most accessible public spaces in every neighborhood can serve as a reliable source of clean water.
Water for Life: Tharparkar Region
Tharparkar, a region plagued by water scarcity, requires special attention. Our project extends to this area with the installation of hand pumps and water filtration units, providing the local population with critical access to safe drinking water. This initiative is vital in preventing waterborne diseases, supporting local agriculture, and sustaining daily life in one of the country’s most vulnerable regions.
Sustainable Water Solutions:
We install two types of water facilities:
Water Coolers:
Ideal for mosques and hospitals, each cooler installation costs PKR 60,000. These units provide a reliable source of chilled water, crucial for comfort and hydration, particularly in Pakistan’s intense heat.
Hand Pumps:
Costing PKR 80,000 each, these are primarily installed in Tharparkar and surrounding villages. Hand pumps are a lifeline for the local communities, providing essential access to fresh water for drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene.
